Welcome to our Sizzle Hibachi At Home FAQ page! Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our hibachi at home experience — including booking, table setup, pricing, and what to expect during your event.
Our hibachi experience starts at $55 per adult and $30 per child (12 and under). Premium options are available for $65 per adult. A minimum order applies, and travel fees may vary depending on your event location. Contact us with your party size and location for an exact quote.
We can accommodate both small and large private parties. Whether you’re planning a family gathering, birthday party, vacation celebration, or corporate event, we can create a hibachi experience that fits your group.
You can book directly online - no booking fee required. From there the manager will contact you to get the rest of the details for your party.
Yes, we offer table and chair rental service for $15 /person, which includes tables, chairs, plates, utensils, tablecloths, set up & clean up.
In most cases, no deposit is required.For large group events or special requests, a deposit may be required to secure the booking.If a deposit is needed, we will always inform you in advance before confirming your reservation.All payments are made directly to the chef on the day of event, unless otherwise discussed in advance.This allows our guests to book with confidence and enjoy a stress-free experience.
Gratuity is not included. Tips go directly to the chef and are appreciated based on the food, service, and entertainment. Many guests tip similarly to a restaurant — about 18–25%.
Yes! We have a free estimator on our booking page that will give you an estimate of the cost. Just enter your guest count. You will not be charged without agreement on final price.
We’re proudly based in Charleston, SC and serve the Greater Charleston area with no travel fee for most local locations. For destinations farther away, a travel fee may apply based on the location. We’ll always confirm any applicable travel fee with you in advance.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, and peak vacation seasons. However, we may also have availability for shorter-notice events depending on the date.
Yes we have many ways we can accommodate for bad weather. *We can cook indoors (10 foot ceilings and by an open window/sliding door).*In an empty garage.*Under an enclosed patio.*Chef cooks on deck, guests inside. *Under a tent 10feet or higher
We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or change your event, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance.
Food safety is our top priority. We require all guests to disclose allergies before the event. Our chefs are trained to handle allergen-aware cooking and will take precautions to avoid cross-contamination.
We can provide tofu to meet Vegetarian and Vegan needs. The price per person is the same. We can supplement their servings with additional extras on cooked veggies etc.
Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions upon request, which include but are not limited to: Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Dairy-free.It's important you let your reservation manager know the exact restrictions before the party.
No, our food does not contain any nuts or sesame products. Please notify the booking agent of any other food allergy a customer may have.
Due to insurance and pricing requirements, we do not cook any outside protein or food at this time.
You should arrange for a clear area for our grill: 68.3" L x 27.5" W x 41.3" H and setup your tables, chairs, silverware, large plates, salad plates, drink cups and any beverages you want to drink besides sake (which we bring plenty of!)
Yes! Although we prefer outside, we cook indoors frequently, especially during winter. Best to notify us when booking that it will be indoors. You’ll need a space with high ceilings (10ft+) and plenty of ventilation — ideally with the grill near a window or sliding glass door.
